We are New Zealand’s largest tyre collector and the only business managing the entire process end to end — from nationwide collection through to processing and the manufacture of premium, NZ-made recycled rubber products.

Proudly 100% NZ owned and operated, we collect more than 2.4 million tyres each year from over 2,000 customers, transforming them into ​5,000+ tonnes of sustainable products annually.

With 16 depots and 4​2 collection trucks on the road, we provide reliable, nationwide tyre solutions — supporting local jobs, reducing landfill, and closing the tyre life cycle here in New Zealand.

How to book a tyre collection

Location

All tyre collection jobs must be booked through the Tyrewise website admin.tyrewise.co.nz. Alternatively contact Sue, who can guide you through the process. at  tyrecollections@treadlite.co.nz

Log In

Enter your email address, click enter without password and it will email you a 6-digit code. Enter the code and submit

Booking

Once logged in, click on the word JOB up the very top by the Tyrewise logo.

Information

Fill in the pick up Location, select a Date, select Treadlite NZ as Transporter, and Loose tyres in Load type.

Frequency

In Pick Up, select a frequency that suits. This will be repeated until further notice.

Amount

On the right-hand side just enter an estimated number of tyres.

TIP: You won’t need to make another booking as this job is now set to repeat.

Commonly Asked Questions

Will Treadlite recycle all tyres?

Yes, there’s no tyre thats too big! We are happy to take all tyre sizes for disposal.

What condition do you take tyres in?

We just ask that you make sure your disposed tyres are clean and free of dirt and debris.

Can I set up an account?

Yes, if you would like to set up a tyre collection account, please contact Sue at accounts@treadlite.co.nz

Can I drop off tyres?

Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, tyre drop-offs are discouraged.
